Does anyone have the schematics for the fans on a 2004?

Well I had the PCM redone, put it back in, same problem. They sent me another PCM, and same code, so I ruled out PCM. It is at my buddy's Corvette store, and his tech has it apart. He only has 02 shop manual that shows red and blue proms. My 04 has blue and green proms?

You mean connectors...not proms....

It doesn't matter, the pinout is the same.

C1 - blue connector - pin 42 - low speed cooling fan relay control
C2 - red or green connector - pin 33 - high speed cooling fan relay control


....I'd be concerned if the tech working on your car could not figure this out.

Thanks Lucky! This problem is going to be the death of me. I can only assume it is in the wiring from the PCM to the fuse block under the hood. It had probably 10 nicked or chaffed wires on the harness near the PCM.

Common area to chaff. Have him inspect the vacuum lines while in the area. After repairs, make sure the wire harness is clad to protect it. Good luck...
