a while back i had a new orifice tube put in and system recharged.. well the car sat for a quite a while when i was getting a new motor built and i just recently got it back...
i put a new belt on for the ac, and now when i turn the ac on.. the light comes on for about 2 seconds (doesnt blink) and turns right back off.
i have checked and there are NO hvac codes...
i swapped relays 34/36 and nothing different...
also checked the other fuse i think #16 and it was fine...
any suggestions...
i was gonna have a buddy put his guages on it today but hes out of town for the weekend... so that will be coming soon
You probably need to physically look at the compressor to see if its clutch is actually engaging or not. If it is but shutting down right away, most likely you lost too much refrigerant and yes, you'll need the guages to verify. Check to see if you have any HVAC codes.
