Default Urgent Code Help Please!

CEL has been on for as long as I can remember. Trying to get the car inspected so its ready for a new owner. Took the car to a shop to see what the codes were, they told me there was two: P0327 (knock sensor) and P0650 (Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit).

They wanted $533 to replace the knock sensors so I installed new ones myself for $100, reset the P0357 code on the DTC, started the car, CEL was off. Drove 6 miles, parked, turned car back on and CEL is on. I pulled the codes from the DTC and here's what they currently are:

P0357 (H C) Ignition Coil 7 Control Circuit
P1154 (C) HO2S Transition Time Ratio Bank 2 Sensor 1
B0502 (H C) RH DRL Relay Circuit
B0507 (H C) LH DRL Relay Circuit
B2482 (H C) Backup Lamp Relay Circuit
C2121 (C) TPM System Programming Malfunction

Thats 5 codes the shop never mentioned, and P0650 isn't one of them. Should I reset all of them and see what comes back on? Or drive around for 50 miles and see if that resets something? If so, does the 50 miles have to be in one trip without turning the car off or accumalitive? Does (H C) mean history or are they all current? Stuck here, could use some help!

When you are trying to hunt these things down, write down your codes like you did then reset all of the code via the DIC. Then drive it around for awhile and see if they come back. Then post those. The HC means that it was a previous code and it is also currently set.

You can tell a bit about what is going on after you reset based on the codes that return. You might also want to go through Bill Curlee's electrical sticky at the top of the tech forum and make sure you check your grounds and the wires in the accordion tubes in the doors.

You probably should have pulled all the codes BEFORE you replaced the sensor. Now we don't know if they were preexisting or the result of something you disturbed while working. If the shop used a code reader, they may NOT have seen all the codes. Typically the code readers do not report all the Corvette specific DTC's. You really need to pull them up in the DIC to see all the Corvette DTC's.
I pulled the codes before the knock sensor installs. ALL the codes I posted were the same minus the P0357 knock sensor...which went from C to H C. Will reset them all and drive around tomorrow and post the results. Ticks me off how a couple insignificant electrical codes (assuming thats it) would cause a failed inspection. 1 or 2 years ago it passed with flying colors...

If those other CEL's were current, I dont understand why the CEL went off temporarily after the install??
