HELP
Pull your codes Are the injectors firing? Do you have spark? Is the security light on?
BIG problem. Old battery acid wicked down my wiring harness and took out the PCM, ECM and destroyed more than half on the pin connections on the computer. Not a cheap fix.
Original battery leaked and went south 10 years ago. Looks like my dealership may have tried to save a few bucks and never changed the harness when they repaired the computer.

(Laymen's description)
There is no ECM on a C5, so I assume you mean the TAC module. Did they actually test the PCM?
It's the Laymen again They told me they tested it and your right it was the TAC.
Would be nice to know how they went about that. Did you see the damage? Did the acid get in the connectors, or just the wiring? Are they using a tech II i.e. can communication be established with the PCM?
