Fuel Level Sensor
Hello guys,
A few months back i changed the fuel pump in my 04Z and while at it i changed the fuel level sensor as well. Now the fuel gauge only reads half full when i have a full tank and dead empty when i have 1/2 tank and i get the low fuel level and check gauges light too.
The reason i changed the old level sensor cause i damaged it by mistake when removing it from the old pump to transfere to the new pump. So did i get a bad new level sensor or did i get the wrong one? The one i got is for 07Z and the pump is for the 07Z as well.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You might need to get a tuner or the dealership to re-flash your pcm. It being from a 07 might have something to do with it not reading it properly. I have heard when people replace the sensor level they have to have the pcm re-flashed. Good luck!
