What coilovers are you running?
Are they adjustable?
How do you use your car? Track? Street?
How old are they?
Not enough info to provide a meaningful answer.

I'm curious about this too. I bought my Pfadts used, apparently had about 20k miles on them, now their total mileage would be around 35-40k. Mostly street car, plan to do 1 or 2 track days a year. I know for normal use OEM shocks people usually say about 70k is a good time to replace them, I'm thinking it's around the same? But not sure.
Good thread.

I am running LG's.
The car is strictly street. I am not sure how old they are. They were on the car when I purchased it in 06.
I have problems with bottoming out over bumps which in my guess is the suspension does not have room to travel since the car is lowered with these. If they are adjustable I have no idea how to adjust them either.
BillY2KFRC - Thanks!

If you're bottoming you need more spring. Raise the preload 1/2 inch at a time and see what happens.

Experience or a shock dyno.
Are they leaking? Are the rubber bushing split at the top? How is the dampening on them? You really need to pull them out to see if they are shot.
If you are running coil-overs then you need to see how the car handles and feels. What coil-overs are they?

They are LG coilovers. I do not have a clue about coilovers, what they should feel like or anything about them.
I do know that my car rides rougher than a pissed off bull and bottoms out easily over small potholes, bumps.
