Difference between EBCMs
Ok, my EBCM is fried, already checked with Brandon at ABSFixer and a few other places (all said it couldn't be fixed). Here's what happened, either lightning or a surge came through my battery tender (fried it too)
now I'm getting a C1232 code. I also switch the front wheel sensor harness from left to right (no change). So I'm in the market for a new one. What I'm wanting to know is what is the difference the EBCM on the 01-02 and the 03-04. I was told they were the same. Something got to be different. There is two part #s, 12216561 for the 01-02 and 10343433 for the 03-04. Also there is price difference of about $130.00.
My Z is an 02 and that just so happens to be the more expensive one.
Why is the 03-04 that much cheaper and will it work on a 02?
