Default No Gauge Lights

My gauge lights are not working at all. They were intermittent for a while, blinking out for a few seconds and coming back on for hours of run time. One day they blinked out and never came back on.

EVERYTHING else works, including:

Headlights, side markers, rear lights, dash lights, dimmer (full operation), traction control, check engine, etc...

I've checked all fuses, though it was intermittent to begin with. At this point, I'm considering taking the car off the road while I take apart the dash to figure out what's going on. ALL the gauge lights are out and the common link is the UV lighting and I would find it odd that both UV lights would go out at the same time.

I suspect a loose wire or bad connection to the back of the DIC. Maybe the connector going from the UV's to the power supply?

Anyway, thinking out loud and would love some additional opinions on what to look for when I tear this thing apart. I've done the usual forum searches with a ton of random threads about dash lights and tail lights, etc. No luck on my particular problem.

Thanks guys.

Took apart the dash and removed the IPC. I checked both connections to the left/right UV lights and reseated them. I reseated both connections of the cable for the inverter. I put it back in the car and connected the battery to test and they still don't work.

I think the inverter for the UV lights has failed. Going to call around and see where I might be able to pick one up.

Would still love some feedback!
