Default Electric Seat Control Issue on Driver's Side

My 04 coupe's drivers side seat controls for the lumbar support and other "air" controlled adjustments don't work but the controls for the seat movement and adjustment do. Everything works on the passenger seat. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before or knows anything off the top of their head that could cause this?

It would save me from troubleshooting from the bottom up.

If anyone could give me a bit of a head start it would be much appreciated

check for your codes first...

press and hold number four on the right of the gauge cluster and simultaneously press number 1 four times while still holding number 4. grab a pen and write down all the codes you see...when you get to the manual mode after it goes through all codes once...you can press either 3 or 4 to scroll through and 1 or 2 to see individual codes I think??? I can't remember but i've done it a million times...you can also press and hold reset once you're in the manual mode and try and reset the codes in the SCM (seat control module) section.

you'll see what i mean once you enter the diagnostic mode

man i gotta save bills post with the instructions for this..

Hmmm I was under the impression that if codes were thrown by the vehicle it would come up in the display? Or are there codes that won't show up automatically?

Most likely cause is the air blatters or pump are toast. These will not throw a code if not working. Can you hear anything when you try to use the functions. Dealer want's 450 bucks for a new one so just go to a salvage yard or buy a ford mustang pump of an auction site and you should be good to go.

I can't hear anything when I use the controls.

Hi there.
I´m a swedish girl with a corvette c5 -98 and I discoverd the same issue on my car this morning. I removed the fuse to se if i was broke (it wasn´t) but when I put it in place again there was a noise from the driver seat. That same noise that comes when you use the lumbar controls on passangerseat.

Interesting. I wonder if there could be a bad connection in the fuse box? I'll take a look at mine. Is there a specific fuse for each seat?

Pulled and checked all my fuses for seat controls and they're all good. Checked all the codes in the DIC and nothing to do with the seat control module came up. I'm guessing since when I use the controls for lumbar etc I don't hear the air pump that the pump itself is probably toast. I'll have to take some time to pull it out in the next few weeks here. Any tips for removing/replacing the air pump under the driver's seat?
