Callaway Honker for a 2001 ls1
Hi There,
I'am thinking of buying a callaway honker cai . This item was bought for a 02 z with the ls6 engine. Will it fit my stock ls1 engine? Is there any difference between the size(mm) of the maf between the two engines? Will the bellows mount right up to my 4" od t/body? Do I need to worry about any codes being thrown as the maf will be clocked in a different position then the stock one? Is this p/number the one I need 203502500?

The 02 Z has 88mm MAF, depends what year your car is. The 98-00 have a 75mm MAF, then in 01 they bumped the size up and put the IAT in w/ the MAF.

Thanks for the info. I had the right p/number wasn't sure though.
I can always expect reliable info. from you.Question for you.When you install that system you have to change the clocking of the maf. That will change the direction of air flow.Will that cause a lean trim code or any code to be displayed ?
BTW I took your advice & never bought the battery tester at h/freight. Bought this instead item 99925
