Viper 5901 Install
Hey Guys,
Just got a great deal on a Viper security system and now I'm trying to decide if I want to install it or not. I just purchased the tech sheet for the C5 from DEI that shows all of the wiring locations and colors that will need to be tapped into and I'm relatively comfortable working with electronics, but I've never done an alarm/remote start system before and I don't want to screw anything up... Thoughts, advice, tips, opinions? Has anyone done this before? Couldn't find much searching. Thanks.

Remote start
This is simple to do if thats what you do. I do remote starters and alarms ..... the only problem you will have is bypassing the security / key issue. You need to purchase the GM passlock I II / VATS bypass module. I have the wiring instructions and if you know how to wire relays I can give you the diagram, then all you need is the keycode resistance value.
