jet pump filter change??????
anyone ever change the inline filter next to the jet pump in the right gas tank sending unit?????????? 
if so, where do you find it? or can you use something else?
or can you bypass it?

The OEM right tank sending unit/pump assembly has a strainer filter attached to it inside the tank. The GM replacement unit has two small wire-mesh strainer screens and an improved circuit board for the float/sending unit.
Any "inline" filter is on the left inside frame rail, not the right side, and can be replaced easily. The only exception is the late '03s and all the '04s. You don't say anything about which year model you are working on.
