Default is this alright?

painted my calipers yesterday and when i was putting on the wheels i lost a lug. is it safe to drive around with a lug missing? TIA! :confused:

I wouldnt worry about it, you should be safe until you get a new one, I probably wouldnt do any hard cornering though :cheers:

I don't think it's a good idea. With the lug nut missing you will put undue strain on the others and may warp the rotor. I have read on the forum that you should torque the lug nuts slowly in a star pattern starting with 30ftlbs on each then 60FTlbs working up to 100ftlbs. You will be fine. I drove about 25,000 miles on custom rims with big rotors and not one problem with 4 lugs on my previous sports car
