Default Fluids/Maintence question?

Ok so im gunna be doing the last bit of general servicing/maintence before winter.... have a few questions also make sure i didn't miss anything. 30K miles on a '04 Z16

Done:
- Cleaned/Oiled K&N
- Cleaned MAF
- Moblie One Extended life Oil
- Flushed/Bled brakes (synth)
- New pads/rotors
- Sucked clutch fluid out and refilled (Synth)

Need to do:
- Flush Cooling system (2 Gal Dex Cool)
- Diff Service (1.5qts 75w90 w/ LSD additive)
- Trans Fluid (Synt. Dex III 4-5 qts.)

Did i miss anything?

You're lookin' good, don't "flush" the coolant system though, just drain and refill with distilled water ONLY then drain again, then warm the car up till the stat opens, let cool, drain again..fill with distilled water again. Repeat until only clear water comes out of the drain petcock in the radiator. Then dump 1-2 gallons of dexcool in and top off with distilled water.

Then you'll have only distilled water in your cooling system and you don't have to worry about messing anything up or paying someone to flush your system.

The flushing of any fluids is not recommended on C5's.

With 30k on it,I would just drain and refill with new dexcool.

Don't flush it!

Thanks, I was planning on doing a drain and refill of the Dexcool. As for the Trans should i used Synth Dex II or I was reading and saw GM Manual trans fluid... whats recommeneded?

Some guys mix Synth Dex with regular Dexron.
G.M recommends GM for their products.
Sooo, It's really up to you.
If you are happing with the fuild that's in the tranny now, I would just use that.
I used Dexron IV when I drained and refill my Transmission
Remember that after you fill the pan up you then have to start the car and fill it againg..
