help car won't start

help car won't start

01 Z06 with ~61K miles.

Car wont start no clicking noise but dash powers up, already cleared the codes on the DIC. no service steering column message on the DIC. Battery has been recharged.

Without knowing what codes your car had how would we have a clue as to what is the cause of the NO START??? Many possibilites, bad starter, battery that fails a load test (surface charge but not enough reserve to operate the starter), Security ( resistor on the key) issue, ignition switch failure and others..........

Try pulling the codes again after you try to start the car and post what you find. Post the 5 character code as well as the H, C or HC suffix.

and maybe check the switch on the clutch.
