I took the Vette to Lou Backrodt Chev. for a squeal from the serpentine belt area. They changed the idler pulley and belt and charged me $400. Now it appears that the damper pulley is wobbling and I have another squeal. (when cold).
Need an opinion as to whether I am in a position to demand repair, under warranty from the last repair which was only 2 weeks ago, or if I'm going to be stuck for another repair bill.
Thanks,
Mike

I had the same problems! Replace the tensioner a couple of times, the idler pulley a couple of times, the alternator, and numerous belts of various brands and it still squeeled!! The solution was the new balancer/pulley! I would certainly try. I believe it is a known problem. :smash:
