I am looking for a cage setup. I spoke to Lou at LG and he told me that they set you up with a pretty clean setup. Can you either send me some pictures or post them on here.
I mostly want to see the removable bar attachment points.
How much are you guys paying for these 6 point setups with swingout bars. I was looking at the ones from Wolf and they are priced vary well but Im not sure on quality.
9D9LS1 and Godspeed - just so you know, this cage is not legal for SCCA or probably other such sanctioning bodies. It looks like a really well-braced single hoop roll bar, but you should consider a double-hoop six-point cage if you are serious about this stuff.

I just posted pics (not very good, I'm afraid) of the Kirk cage in my 2000 FRC at: http://www.egallery.com/temp/cage.html
Nice looking cage, although personally I would not want the front bars in my daily driver. I'm not willing to sacrifice that much comfort nor am I willing to give up my sun visors! I'm all about low residule presence. :p: My bar is NHRA legal, has a SCAA style diag, and meets most open road racing and auto-x standards. Remember, it's a street car! ;)
If you look at the pics you can see the mount points for the removable bars. One thing I like about it is that when you pull out the front bars, you don't have to worry about your shoulder hitting the mounting point as it does in some of the other bars I have seen (ouch!) They mount directly to the main hoop and are out of the way. My 6-point bar has a SCAA style diag for improved side impact integrity and is NHRA legal to 10.00.
Godspeed & K&B: Good looking cages. Here is a few pics of mine at stage one of the install. It is crome molley and will be painted the color of the car with a clear coat.

Very nice looking cage.
What kind of time are you running? Are you in the 11's yet? :p: :D Just messing with ya.
Even when I was rear ended... hard... I didn't hit the side bar stubs by my shoulder so no worries there. They are far enough back it's a non-issue. What you do need to be worried about is the cross bars on the main hoop and the top loop behind your head. Though's are the bars that are going to inflict serious injury on your body in a wreck if your not in a 5pt harness. Even the race harness will not stop the rearward motion of your head/body and the seat into the cross bar. Trust me I know first hand which bars hurt in a wreck and which ones don't.
If you put a cage in your C5, PAD THE CROSSBARS behind your head AND your passengers.
