Switching lubricants

Going to do some lube changes on my '99 FRC, no problems.

Want to switch to Amsoil for the rear diff.

Do I use the 75/90 ?

Also do I add limited slip additive, or is it in the Amsoil ?

Yes, 75 90 & look on the bottle, If it says L S on it you don`t need the additive.

For ordering purposes, Amsoil refers to their gear lube as SVG (Severe Gear).

Like Dennis Wilson said, Amsoil's Severe Gear lube already has the friction modifier in it.

the new gm ls gear oil is supposed to be the best stuff you can use, and doesnt require friction modifier. you may want to look into this if you havent.
