i have heard NGK TR55 are nice and they are cheap but i had a bad experience with them...do it the right way and put AC Delco iridiums in.

Depends. What do you want? TR55's last about 30K miles. Irradium's last at least 60K. I went with the TR55's because I don't mind changing them and they were a lot less expensive.

The NGK's will work just fine, but some of the other manufactures products will provide a longer plug life. However,if you ever go boosted or nitrous then NGK's are a must. They provide an additional safety margin when things go south...better a melted strap than a blown piston.

My thing is, even though the iridiums can go 100k, I cant ever see myself going 25k without pulling them to check anyway. So I might as well throw in a fresh set while I'm in there. If you have any engine mods done they may NEED replaced more often due to rich/lean spots in your tune. In that case putting the more expensive plugs in would be even less viable.

i know but one can have the security mindset (i do atleast) knowing that the iridiums can go the distance where as the NGK's is a MUST change. And like you said, with mods, youd be changing even SOONER with the NGK's....just going off what you said.
