DIC buttons ( lights out)

I seem to recall from reading someplace around this forum they were kind of a PIA to replace.
Having said that, I had two DIC button lights go out on me, or at least that's what I thought. I didn't feel it was worth the hassle to replace the bulbs so I just left them. Recently I noticed they were working! Looks like a loose or bad connection.
Perhaps you might have the same issue. Just a thought.

I agree, its a PITA. I tried changing them and only messed things up. I ended up buying a new DIC controller. The lamps are NEO-Wedge lamps and there are several different sizes.

thanks guys, i went to radio shack, bought small 12v bulbs , made them fit into the plastic housing , spent $3.50, called my local chevy dealer, they were going to have to order the bulbs , and they were $10.50, each.
