RR speed sensor variation
My friend has a 2001 ZO6 that I compleatly rebuilt. 170K. Problem is the RR speed sensor keeps throwing a code. It will show excessive variation or the shorted or open circut codes. The tech 2 snap shot will sometimes show speed signal spikes. I have replaced the speed sensor and the EBTCM. I used a breakout box at the EBTCM. It also showd variation in the speed sensor signal. It will spike high or low. My question is will resistance in the signal wire cause a false high speed AC signal?

My question is can a bad wire cause a higher speed false? The WSS generates an AC voltage signal. Can resistance in a wire cause the signal to spike high? I graph three WSS w/tech 2. The RR will spike high or low. Thanks
