That comes out to 11 cents a day to protect your engine if you change the oil annually. Not too sabby in my book, and certainly well worth changing even if you haven't put many miles on it.
Sitting is the worst thing for a car, and chances are that you've driven it at least a little bit or at the absolute least I'm sure you've started it and let it run as some form of preventative maintenance.
All of this will equate to blow-by and acid to accumulate in the oil, as well as condinsation if you haven't driven at operating temp for extended periods of time.
Leave it in or change it, probably doesn't really matter. But, my vote is to change it. (if you have to ask, you must know the answer )
Seeing that you live in Indiana which is relatively humid in the summer and damp in the winter I would get it out. The crankcase breathes and the moisture is probably down in the pan what little there may be. I would change it to be safe
