Here's the story. I took my 2000 Vette automatic in for routine, oil preasure sensor replacement and the lower tensioner replacement because it was contacting the transmission oil cooler lines. Somehow the intake did not have to be removed to replace the oil sensor.
Everything went smooth until it was time for me to pick up the car. I started up the car and backed out of the service garage. I was stopped by the service tech. He tells me that my car it leaking transmission fluid. I looked under the transmission and see a puddle of transmission fluid about the size of a saucer plate. The fluid was light pinkish red in color. He tells me he doesn't know why the car is leaking transmission fluid. Is this just a coincidence? or was something done to cause this. I checked my garage at home and the car definitely wasn't leaking until after I got it to the service garage. Anyone ever have this happen? I would like to hear your comments.

They worked on your transmission cooler and now it is leaking trans oil - yup, they did SOMETHING !!!
Make them fix it !
There are two cooler lines in the front of the engine in front of the tensioner. The leak is in the rear directly under the transmission. I had to leave the car there because I was scared to drive it.

You brought it in and it wasn't leaking, they worked on it and did something now it is leaking. I would be pissed off and they should fix it, whatever it is....they screwed something up, especially if it leaked a puddle like that.
I hope they make it right and post your results....scares the crap out of me to take my car in for a service, so am planning to do ALL my own stuff, or as much as I can.
