Default New here....Need some tech help. Few Problems...

Hi guys new to the forum. I just purchased a 99 FRC with right at 38k miles. I got the car for CHEAP and has a few problems that I am wanting to get fixed.

1. The speedometer doesn't read the speed. When I turn the key on the speedometer sweeps but does not read. When I turn on cruise control it shows the correct speed digitally. The speed sensor was replaced (well the previous owner said it was)

2. Traction control and ABS do not work. I think it has something to do with the speedometer problem.

3. The headlights wont pop up. Headlights work if I manually crank them up and turn them on.

4. Fuel gauge comes on prematurely and says the tank is empty and will sometimes not read any fuel at all. Previous owner says it was the Venturi Pump. Also when the left tank seems to start to run dry I hear a pump running in the back and does until I fill up the 5-6 gallons of gas that are missing.

5. 4th Gear grinds unless I double clutch and sometimes pops out of 3rd gear. It feels like the car doesnt want to drop its RPMs. Clutch problem causing these issues?

Here are all the codes the DIC is showing.

PCM - 5 CODES
P0171 - H
P0471 - H
P1431 - H
P1571 - H / C
P1689 - H / C

TCS - NO COMM

BCM - NO CODES

SDM - 3 CODES
B1001 - H
U1040 - H / C
U1096 - H

IPC - NO CODES

RADIO - 4 CODES
U1064 - H
U1016 - H
U1096 - H

BO-RFA - 3 CODES
U1255 - H
C2100 - H
C2105 - H

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Can't help

2. Traction control and ABS do not work. I think it has something to do with the speedometer problem.

Search, pull codes. Did you check fuses?

3. The headlights wont pop up. Headlights work if I manually crank them up and turn them on.

Search, need to replace (or rotate) plastic gears. They make metal ones.

Try Techron in your gas. It is probably a sensor (gas float get gummed up by sulfur). Try Techron twice.

5. 4th Gear grinds unless I double clutch and sometimes pops out of 3rd gear. It feels like the car doesnt want to drop its RPMs. Clutch problem causing these issues?

-Replace clutch fluid by sucking old out (turkey blaster) and replacing.

-Also check tranmission fluid level, wouldn't hurt to replace. It uses Dextron III ATF in transmission.

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!!

See responses above

Start w/ the "C" codes, the current ones AFTER you've cleared them. If you got this "Cheap" was it wrecked??

No was not wrecked. Has a couple scuffs on the front bumper at the bottom but not wrecked. Got it dirt cheap cause of the problems. The owner didnt want to worry about them. Its far from stock too. Pushing about 600hp thanks to the vortech t-trim

Well yeah it's modded! Who buys a corvette and leaves it stock?? lol I'm all about the power!!! Lol It's actually in great condition. It may have been ran hard but isn't that what these cars are built for?? I know my 2001 ws6 was ran pretty hard but I still respected the car and took care of it and never had a single problem. The the block is built and the rear end is built so I'm not concerned. I'm not afraid to work on my own vehicles and the car runs flawlessly. I just drove it from several states away at least 500 miles without a hicup.

The car runs flawlessly? I would consider that a flaw
