Ngk TR55 or TR5
Just wondering what is the difference between the two and which one should I install ?

The TR55s are what you will want. They are in the correct heat range for a naturally aspirated LS1 and you will be very happy with them :cheers:

yes, go with the TR55's. btw, i just got a set two days ago. :)
the TR5's are gapped to .035 i think, and the TR55's gapped to .050.

The TR-55 is preset at the factory for a gap around .060", which is spec. for the C5 ignition system. Increasing the gap of a TR-5 can be done, put the ground post would not be parallel to the tip. Use the TR-55. :cheers:

hrm ... i thought TR55's were gapped at .050. we'll find out as soon as mine get here.
