misfire in #8

hey guys...! i got a 98 vette, and got a misfire in the # 8. just changed my plugs 2 weeks ago. do you think my plug is bad or the coil..????

Check the plug wire first. I just had a new one fail in about 300 miles, the wire connection inside the crimp at the spark plug side broke.

Did you get a code from the DIC to point you to #8?

well I went to autozone because my check engine light came on. there scanner told me it was my #8 misfire.

I went home and when I went to pull the plug I found the spark plug wire had popped off. thank goodness it was only that...! thanks for your help guys..!
