Steel braided line ?'s
I have some aircraft hydraulic buddies that have every size of steel braided lines possible.. with that being said I'm sure the aircraft fittings and the fittings on the car are diff, so is there anyway to find out what all the fitting sizes are and where I could purchase the fittings and simply install them on the lines my friends give to me?

Pegasus Auto Racing (http://www.pegasusautoracing.com) sells most of the brake fittings, can't help you on the sizes though. That being said, a few bits of info about SS lines you may or may not know: 1) they can cause electrical issues with your wheel speed sensors, the lines being conductive and so close to the speed sensors, 2) in day to day use they do nothing for you, zippo. On the track under extreme abuse, yea, then they have their place. 3) if they are unsheafed bare metal, the dirt and grime from the road will get in between the braiding and over time grind away on the inner rubber and teflon, meaning you need to replace them every few years. My 2 cents would be, if you are dead set on SS lines, get a set of DOT approved (sheafed) ones from an established manufacturer.
