Another seat problem

After the installation of a set of headers I had my drivers side seat quit moving forward and aft. I checked wires under the car and everything seemed to be in order. The seat was in my position and I left it alone.

Being curious, as most of us are, I pulled the code and got SCM 0856. I figured I would get to it at some point and went on about my business.
After a long trip I went out to my car and noticed the passenger seat had moved itself all the way forward. I thought it was a ghost and moved it back. I quit once it got to the back and that was that. I looked for a code but there wasn't one.
Now, here is my question, "What is SCM0856?" Upon looking this up I keep finding PCM 0856 that has something to do with traction control etc. I have already checked and both seats have power at the blue connector but it is in the 12v range. Also, I can't take the seats out as they are all the way back and I can't get to the bolts. What do I do at this point?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I would try taking a small sharp metal object (icepick?), using a wireclip jumper from the 12V coming to the seat to the wire going to the fore/aft motor. This should be the one in the front. This may allow the motor to move enough to get to the back bolts. If the motor wont move by jumpering it then you probably have a ground problem.
(clip one end of the jumper to 12V and take the pick end and carefully push it thru the insulation of the motor wire. Touch it BRIEFLY in case you picked the ground wire. You don't want to blow a fuse.)
Good Luck !!!
