How do I remove the stock shifter?
I read somewhere that someone said this was a snap. I can't seem to figure it out though. I removed 4 nuts from around the shifter but it still won't budge. I tried taking off the console piece but can't even do that. help.... :confused:

If you're able to get the shifter base unbolted from the torque tube mount then it should come off. There is a small gasket that can keep it from coming off easily, though. Give it a tug or a tap with a mallet :D
