Reason: tire name
If by "pop" you mean having the bead seal on the rim - dude if they put 120 psi on that puppy and the seal didn't move, ask for another tire. Anyone know what pressure has to be for the tire to REALLY pop, as in rupture the carcass?

thanks (overnight and still did not seal) requested another tire everything is good
Been wracking my brain about why the tire wouldn't seat. The ONLY answer I came up with is they were trying to put a front (17") tire on a rear (18") rim. The 17" can be stretched enough to get over the edge of the 18" rim because the tire is being stretched into an ellipse (which it will accommodate) but won't seat on the rim because the bead won't stretch radially enough to get the 17" tire up the lip of the 18" rim. It might be interesting to ask them. On the other hand, you may not WANT to know if a tire dealer has people that careless (if that is what happened).

19inch rims, right tire for rim (think tire was a bad one, just would not seal
All tires do not pop when sealing. If tire is not sealing or seating the tire mounting technician needs to work harder in getting tire to seat. The technicians at my work know tricks to get tires to seat. I have seen some tires to be a real pain, it seems they are mine though.
