Am I obligated for...
the entire new tire price on an 02 Z06? My tire needs replacing due to a nail at 3400 miles. Is there a prorate under Goodyear warranty???

Are you sure the tire must be replaced and cannot be repaired?
I am not sure about the non-runflats your car has, but the warranty booklet for the EMTs states that for the first 25% of the treadlife or 1 year, punctures will be repaired (or the tires replaced if not repairable) for free. You should check in the Goodyear warranty booklet (not the GM owner's manual) for the details for your car.

if you end up paying for the tire go to a tire shop that will add on a road hazzard warranty and cover tire, mounting and balancing the tread life of the tire, like I purchased from Disc Count Tire for less than 10% of the tire valve.

They tried 2 different types of patches and still had a slow leak. It is apparently too close to the edge of the tire (side wall).
Will check the Good Year warranty booklet.
