Default fuel gage

I'm having some issues with my corvette. I am new to corvettes and I have only had it for a couple of weeks. It's a salvage title, because of a front side collision. It was restored and everything seems to be okay with it EXCEPT the gages. I can't seem to figure out how to make the fuel gage work properly, it goes up all the way to full when I turn the ignition, but then it returns all the way back to empty. I checked the dash board to see that the wires are all good, and nothing seems to be out of place or burned. What could it be? the fuel sensor, the gage itself or the regulator? please advise me.

Up top, in the dark red icons, there is a "search" button. This subject has been well covered. Could be just...a couple cans of Chevron Concentrate. Good luck.

First try running some "Techron" through with a couple of fillups.

once again

had to do several treatments in mine before it worked correctly. i have also had more of a problem with this when i let the tank go down to under 1/4.....not sure if thats all in my head but last few times i've filled up with over 1/4 tank no problem....just the other week went under 1/4 looking for a chevron station and once again....to zero.....another techron 20oz and all is well.......post back what works
