I think I am missing a Fuel Pump?
I have read lots of threads over the years that talk about "hearing" the fuel pump. I have a 2001 A4 and it is sound-deadened to where I can almost hear a pin drop, but I have NEVER heard a hint of a Fuel Pump sound? Am I missing something?

In ,y car, the OEM pump was pretty quiet; in fact, it quietly laid down under boost. So, I insaleld the RSI Dual-pump system. These pumps do whine a bit, at times.

The pump is outside of the cabin (towards the back behind the drivers seat) so if you've installed a bunch of sound deadening then the pump sound is just not getting through.
