Default How do you warm up Nitto drag radials?

How do you warm them up in a 6speed. Do you just dump it and shift to second? Is there a proper way to get them hot?
Thanks

On my MN6 I went around the water and then pushed the throttle and shifted to second. I needed to get them melting to get best traction.

Line lock would help a lot!!!!

It´s easier now with the A4 :D

Hope that helped.

Go around the box, back in, spin them quickly for a second to coat them in water, pull out infront of the water, rev to 5k and dump the clutch, as the tires start roasting apply the brake QUICKLY about 3/4 of the way down to stop it from moving forward, hold it for about 8 seconds, release the brake, pull up to the line and launch around 3,500. You might wanna find a clear street late at night to practice mashing the brake down without the car bogging, you'll get it within a few tries. Also, traction control OFF!

Have fun.
