I am thinking of installing a ati procharger on my 2002 coupe. I spoke with ATI today and they said the kit would be ready for the 02's in may. Which gives my just enough time to convince the wife. I got dyno numbers from the performance shop in orlando that would install it. They just did a 99 c5 and it produced 160 rwhp increase. They said the 99 had 260 rwhp and went to 420 rwhp after install of the procharger.Do you think there will be traction problems and what kind of times do you think my 2002 would pull in the 1/4 mile and 0-60. The kit cost $6500 installed by the way.
Re: supercharged vette 160 rwhp increase (2000^C5)
I am sure your right, but I have 2.73 gears on it now and maybe drag radial would help not sure. I wonder if the car is rolling and punch it what kind of traction there would be at that point. I see in your sig that you have a tc and gears how are you handling the traction problem.
Re: supercharged vette 160 rwhp increase (golfman)
I have the 7lbs kit on my otherwise stock FRC. Baseline at 304rwhp & 316rwtq w/ SC it's now at 476rwhp & 417rwtq. Hoping w/ FLP exhaust it'll put me over 500hp & 440+tq. Yes it will spin the stock EMT in 3rd gear  Next mods. wider rims & stickier tires. :D It goes on doesn't it

My advice is to order it now, they are being very slow in getting them to customers. :mad
