diff case
HI:
my diff case broke wednesday night at the the track, After inspecting the diff everything is ok execept that the case.I have many offers for complete diffs at good price but they are low carriers(2.73 ratio) mine is a high carrier diff(3.42 ratio). Does anyone knows if I can use one of these cases with my internals? another question Im assuming this carriers are from a auto trans and mine is a t56 six speed. Are these diff cases the same for a auto or manual?

From what I understand, the biggest problem is the ring gear is a different thickness between the two, so the speed sensor is in the wrong location.
I think RPM Transmissions offers a service to relocate the sensor and they can setup the ring and pinion for you also, which will need to be done when swapping over.
