Just wondering if any vendors would consider doing this again. Looking through the archives, I see that Vettewrench did one back in January. If not, who has the best price on a 3000? Looks like this seems to work the best with the original 3.15 gears. Have decided I want to try and avoid reprogramming again if I can so will probably end up avoiding going to 3.42's.
If there is enough interest we can put together some GP pricing for YANKs.
If there isnt enough interest, we usually have a YANK 3000 and Super YANK 3500 in stock and ready to ship at a great price. Drop me an email if interested.

Sending you an e-mail concerning the the Yank 3000. Count me in on a group purchase though if there is enough interest. Always love to save a little bit of money. Helps offset the costs for installation!
I got my 3.42's now. I just have to figure out which TC to get. i might be interested. I am trying to drive/ride in a few cars in my area to figure out which one is for me Yank3500 everyone says it is great, but 3500 seems too high of a stall for me??????????????????

The Bandit........................
Bandit,
did you send your powerloader back to have it adjusted? Would like to follow your lead with the gears but to many issues with turnaround time seem to floating around.
I am getting a little ticked off with Yank! I order a converter on Feb 9, still waiting!:( :( :( :(I got mine in 5 days from them. Which one did you decide on Al?
Super Thruster-3500, they sent the wrong converter 2 weeks ago. Lucky I caught it before it was installed.
I have not sent my PL back yet. #1 I have to figure out which TC I am going to get as that will have an effect on how my PL II is re-programmed.
#2. I will first call TTS and see what the deal is?? I am not even sure if they are still doing Powerloader Re-Programms. There are many forum Members waiting for months and months with no phone calls returned or e-mails answered. i want to figure out what is going on before I send it off.
Re: GP on Yank converters? (2001 Red Coupe Bandit)
I hear ya.
I sent an email requesting information about reprogramming a couple of weeks ago. They sent me confimation that it needed to be reprogrammed along with price of $75 dollars and the address to send it to.
I then sent another e-mail last week requesting a time frame when I could expect it back and whether to send check with the loader immediately or arrange payment some other way. Have not received the reply to that e-mail yet so will give it a few more days.
This is the only reason that I am considering not going with 3.42 gears at the moment. Not sure if I want to take the chance of not getting the powerloader back in a timely manner. Either that or go with another programmer and consider the money spent on the powerloader wasted.
Have not sent the powerloader II back. The ONLY reason I got the gears is because there was someone local who originally bought the 3.42's off a 2001 Z06 with 400 MILES on them. Almost New!!!
He had them in his garage for 5 months and now, is being transfered for his job. He since decided not to install them. He sold them to me for a very fair price, a little more than half of what they cost new, so I couldn't pass them up. Plus, NO shipping.
I have been told by some and also checked with the chevy parts departement that the 3.42 gears in a Z06 are Much Stronger than the regular 3.42 gears in an MN6. I guess to handle the additional HP and TQ. They even had a different part number when I called Chevy just to see for myself. Can anyone else Confirm This???
picking a tC is soooooooooooooooooo hard to do. I just need to drive in a car that has it and I will know what I like pretty quick.
The Yank web site says 1600. And I have looked but the service manuals do not say. In fact they list 4 different mm sizes for converters. I did not know there ever was a choice.
Also I think that as you mod in more horse power the actual stall rises as well.
