The real gains from those products are generally if you are running straight water with the additive. Regular coolant mix with the additive doesn't usually offer a great temp reduction.
I use about 20-25% coolant in my summer mix; and a little more in my winter blend.
The BeCool stuff is suppose to be good, but never tried it.
Just speaking od additives that cool stuff; I added MotorUp to my old 92 Suzuki Katana 750's oil and it actually ran cooler and quiter. Hmmm, must be something to it. I have never put it in anything else though.
