Has anyone used any of the cooling system additives that are proported to drop the temp. If so, have you had any luck and what product was it thanks

I use Water Wetter in my sportbikes and cars.

Dunno if it does much though.

The real gains from those products are generally if you are running straight water with the additive. Regular coolant mix with the additive doesn't usually offer a great temp reduction.

I use about 20-25% coolant in my summer mix; and a little more in my winter blend.

The BeCool stuff is suppose to be good, but never tried it.

Just speaking od additives that cool stuff; I added MotorUp to my old 92 Suzuki Katana 750's oil and it actually ran cooler and quiter. Hmmm, must be something to it. I have never put it in anything else though.

Same here. Water is a much better cooling agent than Dex (propylene glycol) I prefer distilled.

Yep,agree.

Every spring I drain/fill with new coolant and add 1-2 botts of WW to my Z.Seems to help.

As always,IMO.
