i´m helping my friend out whith one little problem
he´s running C5 2002 A4 whith stability control (elect.shocks) whith electric wires that goes whith the A4 loom.
he´s gona swappe to a tranny (he got MN6+pedals+tube+diff)
what can he do to the electric wires to have the stability control work in the car whith tranny and reuse his stock shocks.

Of the tranny swaps (A4 to Manual or Manual to A4) I know about, or have read about...........the whole harness was changed with the swap. No sense in butchering the original harness. If a major change is being made, get the correct harness to facilitate that change.

he has the harness from the Tranny car too so that would not be a problem.
but that car didn´t have the stability control, so the shock would not perform as the should, they are electriced not the typical as on the most corvettes.
But he could buy new shocks, but that costs money.
so the question is can he move the wires for the stability control from Auto loom to the tranny loom and have it work.

Of course he can move the wiring if he so chooses. Honestly, the real expense is keeping those shocks, not deleting them. They are a fortune to replace, compared to C6 Z06 shocks, at ~$240. If it were me, I would deactivate the system, install regular shocks, and call it a day. That way, the factory system can be restored at any time, and converting back to an A4 will be painless.
