Default instrument panel lights out on left side

'03 and the left side panel lights don't come on but right side do. No other electrical problem. I installed chrome bezels on the gauges a year ago and everything has worked fine. So I can go back in and see if the plug on the left side is still connected. Assuming it is, what is the next step to replace "something?" Is there a part that can be replaced? I checked my manual and found 2 fuses for the instrument panel, and both tested O.K. Any other ideas?

The background illumination for the IP Cluster is via two florescent tubes, one on each side. Both are run from the high voltage power supply hanging on the rear of the cluster. I've never heard of one going out yet but probably will start happening. Also, I've not seen of any replacements available at all other than buying the whole cluster. Now if you had it all apart to do the bezels, I would be looking in there again for a bad connection.

Thanks, I'll take it apart to see if the connector somehow came loose after ~5k miles and many buMps on bad roads. I was hoping if the flourescent bulb was shot I might be able to replace it. This has the 50th Anniversary IP so it won't be easy (OR CHEAP) to replace. If I get a regular IP I wonder if I can cannibelize it for some parts?

I would imagine those lamps are the same on all of them. Not positive of course.
