battery being drained
I get the hatch ajar warning and when driving the interior lights stay on but when i park after 15 mins they go out at least i thought. Last night i started the car for awhile then shut it off came back 15 mins later the interior lights were off but to my surprise the intrument panel lights were still on guess thats whats draining the battery my question is how do i find out why the intrument lights stay on all the time

All of the lights should have gone out after 10 minutes but apparently that's not happening. If the hatch switch isn't making contact or whatever it does, you need to look at that. The interior lights might be the dimmer control has been cycled all the way to turn them on.

ok i figured out why the dash lights stayed on the dimmer switch was set to what the owners manual calls parade mode the dash radio and heater controls stay on for day light use go figure. any way the battery stayed up over night was able to start the car . but i still have the hatch ajar warning how do i adjust the hatch latch ????
