CD player - seems warmer than normal
Hi All,
I have a 2004 C5 with Delco Bose system.
I noticed latley when pulling CD's out after play that they seem to be almost hot to the touch. Does anyone else notice this ?
I am not sure if it its because the heat vent sits right above it but
they seems hotter than other players I have and what I remember.
Any replies appreciated !!
Thanks,
Al

Most probably normal, you may feel it is warmer because it is colder outside.

I have a 2003 S10 Blazer that the CD gets hot too.
I am not sure why either. I have had it for about 3 years and it still works fine and has never damaged a CD (or CD-R).
