Installing the headlight units was a snap. I had to invert the original connector to plug into the ballast/ignitor unit. Also, the wiring harness that allows using high and low beams simultaneously and also allows flashing the high beams for passing uses crimped connectors that don't have a super grip on the two wires. I STRONGLY suggest you take time to solder all the connections on the wiring harness to reduce the possibility of the wire pulliing loose.
Otherwise, these headlights are GREAT! One of the more frustrating discoveries in the install was why my OEM headlights had functioned so poorly. The aim point was almost a foot high at 25'. I feel silly that it never occurred to me check the OEM headlight aim.
I especially like the clean, crisp cutoff for the top of the beam. These headlights will not blind oncoming traffic.
