Default Post Cam Install Break-in Period

My C-5 is in the shop right now having a Cam, Valve Springs, Retainers, Push Rods, and LS-6 Intake Manifold installed. It should be ready for pick up by Friday. I was wondering if there is any type of "break-in" period needed after the install. Should I change the oil within a few weeks?

There is no real break in needed on a roller cam. Good luck :seeya

You might want to heat cycle it for the valve springs, which means drive it up over 150F oil temp, let it cool down, and repeat two more times. I dont know if it really helps, but I've seen people recommend it before.

The cam itself has no break in.

I did get the oil to 160+, but that I always do bevor I hammer it :D

No other break in than that.
