Default Clutch Fluid

I read and watched the video on cleaning your clutch fluid and I want to change and clean mine in my 99 FRC with 21,000 miles but I'm unsure what brand fluid to get. When I opened it up it is pretty nasty. Any help will be apprecitated.
Thanks Ron

I like to use Prestone Syn Dot 4 Brake fluid. It's clear & once you get your clutch M/C fluid clean, you will be able to see the first signs of cloudiness or minute particulates in the fluid.
Good luck.

Be sure to BLEED the system after new fluid is installed to get rid of all the air bubbles or it won't work---

Default Bleed the system

Do you mean by bleeding to do the 30 pumps and repeat until clean.
Thanks

As long as you don't pump the clutch with the reservoir empty, no air should be introduced.

Prestone DOT 4 Synthetic is what a lot of people here use. No need to bleed just don't pump it empty like stated above. Just use a turkey baster to empty the fluid reservoir. This is called the Ranger Method.

No need to bleed using Ranger's DOT 4 is compatible with DOT 3.. The DOT 4 will withstand higher temps than the DOT 3
