Unable to solve the "MYSTERIOUS DEAD BATTERY CAPER" on my own - in spite of everyone's help here - I ended up taking my '99 Z51 to MCR Corvettes here in Las Vegas, NV. After three hours of searching and testing, they were able to locate the source of my gremlin:
Faulty Rear Defogger Power Relay.
So far - so good... BUT! When I got home I did recheck the DTC Error Codes and I still had two that came up as current:
1. BCM: B2578 C: Right Front Turn Signal Monitor Circuit
2. BO - RFA: C2121 C: TPM System Programming Malfunction
My concerns / questions are:
1) What in the hell does that mean?! My blinkers appeared to be working fine however the rate of the blinker varied occasionally as it has always done in the few months that I've owned the car.
2) Is this an indication that I'm still not out of the woods with this electrical problem and will continue to have problems until those items are repaired and cleared...??
