My 2002 is at WCC having every bolt on put on now except the mass air flow and the power duct, even though I got the coupler. I only see one company advertising the mass air flow for the 2001 and 2002 and that is granatelli. I know the 2001 and up cars came with a larger mass air. Do I need to get thas well. Also was looking at breathless performance air bridge power duct for over $200. Are these two worth over $500. I'm getting long tubes, exhaust, high flow cats, coupler, blackwing, new computer etc... I would like to know if It would be a bad idea to neglect these things while the cars in the shop.

Don't bother with any other upgrade other than long tubes. Power and pulling the screen or new MAF is not worth it - for 500+ spend that on TPIS headers. Why are you thinking about a new computer? You don't have the mods that warrant a new computer or reprograming. If you get heads and cam then MAYBE, or I would just have it tuned by a LS1 edit dealer.
Re: DOES A 2002 NEED A NEW MASS AIR SENSOR! (Ryan2002C5)
You need to read my post. I am already getting the TPIS headers and everything else. The reason I'm getting the computer done is because I want a balanced car. Changing all the parts out that I am, I know the computer will be affected. The hand held jobs are worthless for the stage 11 program that I am getting. I dont want to piece anything together. I want it all done the right way, all at once. I may not get a ton of power from the computer, but at least I'll have the piece of mind to know I've reworked the computer for the mods made.
