No TPMS error message on the DIC
I just purchased a 2000 FRC (Pics as soon as I can wash the winter off it). The TPS's have been removed from the tire, but there is no message on the DIC indicating there is a problem. When I go thru the gages on the DIC, It says LF (then nothing) then RF (then nothing) I sold my last C5 (we bought a '11GS) and I recall that I got such an error message when the system went down.
The guy I bought the car from does not know what was done so that no message appears on the DIC. Is this a fuse that has been pulled?

My 2000 FRC does the same thing when I’m running wheels without sensors. Normally no errors, no XXX, just a blank where the pressure reading would be. On very rare occasions (~3 times in four years) it will give the error on start up. When I go back to my wheels with sensors, I just throw them on and go, no training needed.
