I recently went to adjust my shifter on the Torque Tube, and noticed that the adjustment Torx bolts are starting to get stripped. Does anyone know the thread specs of these bolts, or know where I can find replacements?
These are the bolts in question:
Thanks

Not really sure why you would compare computer motherboard to a bolt , but if it makes you feel good...
Instead of making ignorant comparisons, can you explain why a GM M8x1.25x27 torx bolt should be used over a M8x1.25x27 bolt of the same grade from another manufacturer? I honestly would like to know if there is something I'm missing. At some point these forums were useful for learning a thing or two about these cars.

Not sure where the ignorance comes into play here, except with your original statement....."bolts are bolts"........which clearly is not true. Obviously, you qualified further, by stating "of the same grade" above.....which is clearly different than "bolts are bolts". You would be surprised how many people think that it is permissible to use ANY bolt on their car, provided it is of the same length, diameter, and pitch.
From: Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed.
