Looking for experience with "Painless" engine wiring harness
I am doing a restore on a 2002 C5 Z06 M6. Unfortunately, the factory wiring harness has seen better days with dry rotted shielding old harness connectors. I fear this will cause gremlins in the future. I have always heard that Painless makes great plug and play wiring harnesses. I wondered if anyone had good or bad experiences with them. I know it can be critical for the wiring type and length to match up with what the stock specifications and have heard of some people having problems with sensors after extending or modifying the harness. Painless has an "plug and play" setup that seems like it would fit my car for just under $900 and while I have everything appart I am considering the investment. Any pros, cons, or other manufacturers would be greatly appreciated and considered. Thanks in advance.
I would give them a call, I'm not comfortable with their description

As far as their harness' go I have for a 1970 Plymouth Satellite I'm restoring. The directions leave a little to be desired but the harness is decent. The individual wires are printed on telling what they go to so that part is nice. Decent setup, bit spendy even at my rate...LOL
